03 July 2006 UK GDP Revised Up GDP grew by 0.7 per cent in the first quarter of 2006, revised up from 0.6 per cent published last month. The upward revision is mainly due to higher estimates of business services output. The level of GDP is now 2.3% higher than the first quarter of 2005.
