13 December 2006 UK annual inflation up The government’s target measure of inflation, CPI annual inflation, increased to 2.7% in November from 2.4% in October. RPI inflation rose to 3.9% in November, up from 3.7% in October. RPIX inflation, the ‘all items’ RPI excluding mortgage interest payments, was 3.4% in November, up from 3.2% in October.
