15 June 2006 UK Average Earnings Increase in Private Sector Average earnings excluding bonuses, or regular pay, rose by 3.8 per cent in the year to April 2006, down from 3.9 per cent in March. Average earnings including bonuses rose by 4.4 per cent in the year to April, up from 4.2 per cent in March.
