UK CPI and RPI decrease in April

CPI annual inflation decreased to 2.8 per cent in April from 3.1 per cent in March. RPI annual inflation decreased to 4.5 per cent in April from 4.8 per cent in March.

The main contributors to these changes came from gas and electricity bills as well as financial services.
