27 November 2006 Singapore consumer price inflation down Singapore’s annual inflation rate remained at 0.4% in October for a second consecutive month, the lowest since July 2005. Growth of food prices, the largest component in the consumer price index, slowed to 1.6% year on year from 1.8% in September, while house prices rose at the slowest pace in a year, by 1.5%.
