30 May 2007 South Africa GDP growth eases to 4.7% year-on-year GDP growth in South Africa slowed to 4.7% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2007 from 5.6% in the previous quarter. This is primarily due to the output growth from the finance, real estate and business services sector slowing from 6.4% to 5.7%, which accounts for the largest share of GDP.
