06 March 2007 Poland on the up Economic growth in Poland gathered pace in the final quarter of 2006, increasing to 6.4 per cent. Rising domestic demand is given as the main reason for this encouraging growth and has lead to some economists saying Poland is reaching the limits of sustainable growth.
