03 April 2006 2012 London Olympic Budget set to rise £2bn Chief executive of the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) - David Higgins announced in an interview with the Observer newspaper yesterday that the cost of the 2012 Olympic Games was likely to increase £2bn from initial estimates of £3.4bn.
