17 May 2007 Israel consumer price drops 1.3% Consumer prices in Israel fell by 1.3% year-on-year in April, the sharpest decline in three years, which was the third successive month of falling prices. The latest drop is as a result of continued declines in the cost of housing and utilities, which make up a large weighting of the inflation basket of goods.
