27 March 2007 CPI and RPI increase in February CPI annual inflation increased to 2.8 per cent in February from 2.7 per cent in January. The main contributor to this change came from increasing transportation costs, in particular air fare increase to European destinations. RPI annual inflation increased to 4.6 per cent in February from 4.2 per cent in January. The main contributor to this change came from housing for the second month running.
