15 November 2006 China Inflation eases China’s annual inflation rate decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 1.4% in October from 1.5% in September as food price growth slowed to 2.2% year on year from 2.4% in September. The Consumer Price Inflation (CPI) in China remains low and it is estimated that the inflation will average 1.3% in 2006.
